Patchwork Tote

Another attempt on patchwork. This time time with a more complicated pattern.

This is going to be the birthday gift for a close colleague of mine. I hope that she will like it.

Jeans Wrislet

This is the improved version of the previous First Jeans Wrislet.

I added zipper compartment and a small compartment in its inner layer.



This is a very convenient pouch. I am going to make a few more of it.

First Jeans Wrislet

As requested by a friend. This is quite convenient to be brought along. It is just nice to put in purse and handphone.

Reversible Bag

This a bag, which can be used on both sides =)

Reversible Bag, this is how people name it.

Sling Bag

I really love the pattern and shape of my previous tote bag.

So, I tried to improve it and make it into a sling bag.

And I did it!

The sling belt is from my old bag.

Pink Tote Bag

This is my new attempt to try a different tote bag.

I saw some nice DIY bags on some talented ladies' website. I love the design of one tote bag and I am so glad that the owner is so generous to share the method to sew it here.

I use pink flowery fabric on it.

Tote with zipper closure

I have improved my tote bags and give them zipper closure! It is quite challenging and I had to open up what I have sewn for several times. After many times of try and error, finally I made it!

I used cotton as lining in between the outer and inner. These two bags are given to my cousin's sisters. I hope that the girls will like them.

Sling Bag

I have a favourite white+brown sling bag which I used very often.

But too bad, it is damaged on its outer part =(

I followed its measurement and made one new sling bag for myself.

And I am really happy with the outcome!

Blue Tote

I made this blue tote bag for myself. It is very large. I think F4 documents can be fitted in it too.

The cartoon on the fabric is way too cute until my friends say it looks like a bag for mum with baby.

Hmm... Maybe I shall consider to alter it and make it smaller?

Red Checkered Tote Bag

I have made a big tote bag with a reddish checkered fabric. This is was meant for FL's mum but too bad, she passed away yesterday before I could hand this to her.

Sigh... Life is really unpredictable. She was still fine when I went to her house few weeks ago.

So, I have given this to my friend instead. This is big enough to put in A4 files. I think it is quite suitable for her to bring to work.

And its inner part.

Japanese Drawstring Bag (large version)

The previous Japanese Drawstring Bag is quite small (for me). It is just enough to put in my purse.

So I tried to make a larger version.

I added a zipper compartment and handphone pouch in its inner side.

The result is quite ok. Big enough as what I want. But the fabric is a bit thin. I am just too stingy to spend money on proper DIY fabric and lining.

Japanese Drawstring Bag

I saw this cute bag here.

And so I made one using a piece of flowery fabric + a dark colour one. The result is not bad =)

The original version is only with the drawstring. I added a handle (which can't be seen clearly from this picture) to make it easier to be carried

I have given this bag to Celine, my friend's niece. She likes it!
