Multi-pocket Jeans+Brown Checkered Sling Bag

I made a sling bag for myself for my coming vacation. I searched through the Internet for some suitable patterns and finally I have decided to make a multi-pocket sling bag.

The original version requires bias tape and I am really lazy to work on that. So I altered it a bit and this is what I present to you. My very own Multi-pocket Jeans+Brown Checkered Sling Bag =]

Orange Stripey Sling Bag

I bought a sling bag two weeks ago in a warehouse sales. The price was cheap with 50% discount.

But, the bag was not as good as how it looked like. The surface peeled off in large amount after I used it for the second time =[

I was really furious at its superb lousy quality! I opened it up and took out all the useful parts (actually, only the zips) and made another similar one on my own.

And here is the result.

I think, I should stop buying bags. It is better to make some for my own.

I made a larger version of this 3-layer wrislet.

I enlarge the pattern from A4 to A3.

And is it more suitable for keeping purse, handphone,

keys and tissue paper for a simple outing.

Dragonfly Sling Bag (smaller this time)

A friend requested for a sling bag with this lovely dragonfly fabric. It is the same pattern with the previous one. But this is slightly smaller.  And I used lobster hooks and D-rings for the sling belt. The result is better than my lousy rapid rivet button whacking skills =p

3-layer Wrislet

Actually, I made my previous Dragonfly Sling Bag from this pattern. This time, I followed exactly the same measurement and made a small 3-layer wrislet.

This small wrislet is nice to accommodate handphone, some cash and cards if you're going out without a bag.

Puffy Cushion 泡芙垫

This is something quite interesting. A puffy cushion!

I saw this in a forum and it seems like quite a lot of handmade lovers have tried them. Since I have a big packet of polyester fiber left from making the pin cushions, so I decided to try making a puffy cushion.

It looked like this before I stuffed in the polyester fiber.

After I stuffed in a lot of polyester fiber.

Final product

Tried it in my car.

At last, I left it for my mum at her workplace.

Sanitary Pouch

I saw such pouches in the market and also in some blogs. But I did not fancy in them at first.

Last night, I was too bored and I was in no mood to make bags. So, as to kill time, I made some pin cushions (as in the previous post). And then, I had this idea to make a sanitary pouch.

After google some examples, finally I have come out with these two pouches which can accommodate three pads, respectively.
